Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

No account required

Armory does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

Your data stays on your device

Your saved verses, collections, and preferences are stored entirely on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party, because we have no server that could receive it — Armory's search and verse database run entirely on-device.

What we don't collect

We do not collect analytics, usage tracking, advertising identifiers, or any personal information. We have no way to identify you or see what you search for, save, or share.

Version checking

Armory periodically checks a small, static file we host to see whether a newer version is available. This is the only network request the app makes outside of purchases and sharing. It sends no information about you or your device beyond what's inherent to any internet request, and we don't log or store anything from it.

Sharing features

If you choose to export or share a collection (as a file, image, or CSV), that action uses iOS's standard share sheet. Where that content goes is entirely up to you and the app or person you choose to share it with — we have no visibility into or control over that.

Purchases

If you make a purchase within the app, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information.
